Oh my goodness!!!! Way back when i joined the Vintage Valentine swap organised by the amazing Heidi Ann at the great blog Foxgloves, Fabric and Folly which has lovely music by the way. My swap partner was the wonderful Sue who sadly does not have a blog as I would be sending you all over there post haste!!! Now as with all swaps there was a limit, this one was $20 and not only does it appear Sue went above and beyond the $20 ( she says lots was from her personal stash but I don't know, she also said she had fun putting this together and that I believe) but the poor poor woman had to pay $48 US dollars to post this box of lusciousness to me.....WHAT A WOMAN!!
Before I show you a kazillion photos I again want to thank Sue from the bottom of my vintage heart as I have never ever ever received anything as wonderful as this in the mail, it takes my breath away every time I look at it.....yes it has been here for 4 days and it is still laid out just like in the photos.
Here we go...ready to feel the love?
My first glimpse inside the box...pink and red shredded paper...oh bliss
Look, pretty presents in pretty paper..yep I kept every little thing..
Blurry shot I know but these lovely die cut images are just like the ones I used to lust after and collect for the scrapbook when I was younger....wonder where that is now?? These get hidden under things in the next few photos that is why they get their own shot.
That sweet little posey is a brooch...aah Heaven!
More brooches, vintage lace, vintage crochet, vintage postcard...and yet there is more.
Can you read what it says on that box??? Oreos drenched in Belgiun chocolate??? OMG!! gorgeous china plates, a huge mug with hearts on ( that is under the box of Heaven), heart soaps in tuelle, another vintage postcard...yes there is more...are you jealous as heck yet?
I know it would be wrong to choose a favourite from this bounty when there is sooooo much to love but these two things, the Cherish cuff with hand embroidery and buttons, my favourite things is lovely and the PINK HOT CHOCOLATE I have never ever before seen and I am sooo excited.
And there is the bounty in all it's glory, there is so much more in this photo as well as what you have seen! Thank you thank you thank you...I adore my parcel more than you know....I shall post pictures of the seemingly insignificant parcel I sent Sue when I know it has arrived with her.
Off I go to look at my goodies again.....
