Look who came to play at my house...
The lovely i can't sew girl herself from Agapanthas and Golsdworthy, Miss Rosey and two of her gorgeous daughters. They seemed quite at home with the guinea pigs even if they had to have cushions to stop their little claws scratching them, lucky we have some just for that purpose!
The little girls had a play with my children and had a lot of fun though there was too much to see and do and Rosey and I had a wonderful time putting together a wall hanging from her gorgeous Christmas stitchery...Kris that is one wisp finished!!! It was such a lot of fun , you know when someone 'gets you' and you talk ten to the dozen and the time flys by so quickly and then we too don't want any one to go home. The girls even asked if they could have a sleepover!! Perhaps one day Rosey, perhaps one day! lol!
Even more exciting and touching was the little gifties the girls brought me....remember this post...about the rocks ?? Look what I got!!!!
I am now the proud owner of those extra special rocks and they have pride of place on a vintage sandwich plate in the kitchen. Wow!! How lovely is that?? Rosey has also written the nicest post about her visit on her home blog Agapanthus and Goldsworthy and her creative blog I can't sew creations where you can see her creative efforts from the day. I had a wonderful time and I am so glad she did also, pity she has to go back to her 'normal' job but we still have every second Wednesday.
Off to pack up some more stock to take to Jondaryan, wait until you see my new creations, I am sooo thrilled with them ( today at least).
