OK it has been a while but I am truly starting to get back into the swing of things! I (Linda) realised this when I was up at midnight quite happily sewing away! Yep that is nearly normal! I have created some new tags, to hang off doorknobs etc, with cupcakes on some and fairy's or angels on some and little birdies on other ones, they are so much fun, no two are the same which is the nice thing. The tags are the start of the series, of course I must do a series, and there will be cushions and bigger wall hangings to fo llow. Here are a couple that I listed on eBay today. In fact I have spent the entire day listing some gorgeous things on eBay for this week, I haven't done it for so long, it took me a while to get into it with the new computer, I had to download all the programmes etc. I have worked it out though and it should be all systems go now! I had taken all the items home and then had to organise a little photo shoot out the back of my house and I am sure my Mother in law thought I was quite mad when she dropped by with some lettuce for the guinea pigs. Here I am with this gorgeous display of bags and boxes, moving around to get the best angle of a fabric tag! Oh well she really shouldn't be too surprised with anything that I do!
I also made two cute bags at the end of last week, you know when you get an idea and you have to finish that idea, or at least start it before you forget it, that was one of my midnight sewing jaunts! I even managed to sew with the machine, which I shall keep doing as practice for my dri ving that I am still not allowed to do for another 7 weeks!!!! aaarrggh!! I understand why, I just wish I could! Still I think the bags look cute, so I achieved something which is a start!
These other photos are from Lilly Cottage yesterday and some more window shopping for you. I think these were different displays. I best be quick and post this before I have to cook dinner and bath the children (one with a broken wrist), in readiness for the Big Brother finale, yes I know it's sad, but hey I don't have to think and besides the Friday night games( which my children love) it is the only part of Big Brother they get to watch. I have my opinion on who should win, and lets just say t hey are at the end of the alphabet. I should also be able to do some serious hand stitching during that time. We will post some more pretty pictures over the next couple of days.....am off to put the pasta on and run the bath TTFN KN Linda Lilly Cottage.
