Joy Joy Joy Joy Joy!!!!
Well only two more sleeps until that jolly man in red, somehow manages to get through doors that I have to spend half an hour in front of cursing and swearing with the key....AND he gets treats for his efforts!! My children are beyond excited, nearly up to counting minutes or breaths they will take before Santa comes, breaking into hysterical giggling alternating with tears as the stress just gets too much!! Lilly Cottage has been a hive of activity for the past week, more so than usual, as we wrap and stitch and rearrange displays as big items leave a gap in the display.
We are planning on having a few days off in the next two weeks but will be open on the Sundays and it will be nice to rest and let our brains think up their next creative project for Jondarayan Woolshed on Australia Day, Monday 26th January. We are joining the girls from The Handmade Expo next year and their first event is on Australia Day, so if you are around please do come and see us and say hello, it should be a great day. The girls have a great blog that keeps you up to date with the dates for these events so pop over and visit.
I have been carrying my camera around for the last week and a half but never seem to have had time to take any photos, including photos of the new bags I made before they sold, oh well there will be more bags. So I have decided to share a few of my favourite photos from the year as this one heads to the end. I know I will also be spending time catching up on some blog reading during the break and am looking forward to seeing some more of your lovely Christmas treasures.
We will be having a giveaway early in the New Year to celebrate our 200+ posts so watch out for that one!
Now for some photos...sit back and enjoy!
Well it is time for me to go and count the childrens presents to make sure we all even out and write my last minute list. As neither of us will have time to post in the next two days, Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night....Kiss Noises Linda Lilly Cottage

Linda and Laura, you gals are certainly amongst my favourite blogland friends and I have enjoyed sharing your creative journey in 2008.
I wish you both a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your few days off from Lilly Cottage and I for one look forward to seeing what new creative projects you come up with for 2009.
