Perhaps a big red farm truck and Calypso music is a strange combination in text but in real life as part of the first Farmers Market at Old Petrie Town on Saturday, it was the best combination ever! It was bustling and exciting and there was music and art and craft and vintage wares....there was even a Gypsy caravan ( OK combi) and of course all the fabulous shops including Lilly Cottage were open to join in the fun.

Do you need a little something to keep you going? What about this mini dutch pancake things.. I can't pronounce them or even try to spell it...they start with P and have a J in there as well....you need icing sugar and strawberry sauce too!
Moving on from the scrumptious food towards my favourite big trees ( see the Easter post), there are all manner of Fairy and Tree sprites to be found....if you look hard enough....and there is also THIS magical place...
Of course you must have helpers to carry your treasures, even if you have to pay them off with icy cold drinks and tiny tiny bits of gold...well that's what I told him anyway..
Back home again to Lilly Cottage. Can you tell we are getting ready for Christmas?

Aaahh yes, felt like I was right there with you Linda. I would have loved some of those gorgeous red tomatoes and all that other delicious looking fruit and veg.

Looks like a great day, I spotted some pink enamel ware and I nearly had heart palpatations as I do love my pink kitchen ware!
