Fabulous Farmers Market and Collectorama Fair this Saturday.

 

In amongst my packing and unpacking this week, next week and seemingly forever, I just had to let you know that this Saturday the 7th November a wonderful Farmers Market is starting at Old Petrie Town, Dayboro Road Kurwongbah Qld ( that's where Lilly Cottage lives too). It is new and exciting and run by the incomparable Peter Hackworth so it should be wonderful, fresh fruit and veges and flowers, fresh flowers...woohoo! It goes from 6am to 1pm and Lilly Cottage will open at the same time for this first market. I hope you can come and join us for a little while.

After I stock up on my fresh fruit and veg and some crusty bread and scrumptious cheese, I will be heading up to Nambour to the fabulous Collectorama, now I know I have told you before how much I love it, but I really do!

This is the last Fair for the year and it is from 8am to 2pm? I think, I can't find the piece of paper at the moment, I just know I am aiming to be there around 11am...oh the excitement, oh the tea cups and vintage buttons and spools of cotton and lace and those cute little vintage bottles and Heaven knows what other wordly treasures await.

You will need to head to the Nambour Showgrounds and remember to take a bottle of water, it is a very large market and you might get a tad parched.....perhaps your thermos of coffee and one of those pull along shopping baskets ( I have one of those they are great for markets, limits the number of times you have to send the Darling Husband back to the car).

It is going to be a busy and fun Saturday...my favourite kind, full of my favourite things....now if I can just find some of my clothing and shoes in these packed boxes I will be fine.

Hey Lovely Lilly Linda! Oh how I have missed your cheerful, pretty posts while you have been moving!! Hope that is all going smoothly and that for the sake of your sanity (and the eyesight of all in the vicinity! Tee! Hee! Hee!) you are able to find your clothes in those boxes :0) Would love to come play with you an Nambour, but alas ... we have other stuff on ... AGAIN!! Aaaaarrrgghhh!!
