Two posts in one day!
Brrrr...Winter isn't creeping in anymore, it is gusting and raining in and is rather chilly most mornings.
Well we headed off to Collectorama, bright and early on Saturday morning....well something was bright I am sure and despite the rain it was a nice drive.
Arriving into Nambour, it was wonderful to be above the clouds and it made our morning a little more magical.
Having rained heavily all night though the ground was not magical...except for an excited Miss 12 who had only just been given new Gum boots the day before....she was having a great time.
Mary Monday was my constant companion this trip, she was really interested and was quite prepared to carry things as well, including our new picnic basket for our thermos...we bought it there, I wasn't making her carry around a thermos full of hot water, that would be cruel and she would complain too much...it was empty most of the time.
I thought you might like to have a look at a few goodies yourself...see anything you like?
We did have our car park picnic but because the weather was so awful, we didn't have our usual table and chairs set up, this worked out fine though.
We met up with several friends, some who didn't want their photos taken and some who were zooming around in such an excited buzz, they didn't stand still long enough for me to get a photo!
I have never seen that many purple bottles ever... Mary Monday chose a blue bottle though to create her own message in a bottle (for display), she has a good imagination..yay!
I love this photo below. This lady was so perfectly collectible herself, look how beautifully dressed she is...and that posture...she was looking at her stall that was directly in front of her...she had just reapplied her lipstick from a cute little lipstick container she kept in her pocket and if she would have told me those things on the stall were once hers, I would have believed her...she was no spring chicken....I hope when I grow up, I look just like her....not much hope of that though, but a girl has to dream.
I will be back soon with some pictures of my little (for me) stash of goodies.
Kiss Noises Linda.
