The invitation was slipped under the door...a Mad Hatters Tea Party on the Foreshore.
Down I did scurry at the appointed time, but when I got there what did I find?
Not a table or teapot but two little birds, beautifully coloured and I asked if they'd heard..
of a Mad Hatters Tea Party or some such news and they told me to keep going and follow the view.
Along the tree line as I looked out to the sea, tea cups and saucers were scattered and hidden it seemed.
The view was amazing it's true, the Glasshouse Mountains through the trees, so clear and so blue.
But it was down on the sand, I happened to glance, a teapot and chest with treasures I'll chance.
Whilst they were beautiful, a party alone they were not, I wondered if the other teaparty goers the time had forgot.
Back up to the pathway and where I had been, now was the most beautiful tea party scene.
I am sure I had been there a moment before, now there was tea chatter and giggles galore.
Then all at once without a sound, up they all sprung, high heels on the ground.
Since they were busy, I shall stop with the rhyme and take a look at the details one at a time.
Thank you for joining my Mad Hatters Tea Party for 2011, linking up again with the gorgeous VANESSA FROM A FANCIFUL TWIST . Thank you Vanessa for holding this fabulous event once more and thank you to all the gorgeous ladies (see previous post) who made my real life Mad Tea Party possible.
