Yes well I truly do need a makeover and a personal trainer ( well versed in stoopid MS abilities to train) and a chef to make delicious meals but we are not talking about me this time. My little blog needs a makeover..just need to work out how to do it as I am not particularly computer savvy....just warning you in case you see strange things happening as I try and make up my mind how I want it to look...of course I have many other things to be doing at the moment but all of a sudden I must do this first...I really should find my sewing table though, it was here earlier today I swear..really!
Well the internet version of window shopping. I thought I would share some photos of the current displays at Lilly Cottage Bribie Island...maybe a few at a time so it doesn't take forever to load for you.
I received the best present last Sunday and am only just getting time to post some pictures. The lovely Rosey of Itty-Bitty and Pretty and Agapanthus and Goldsworthy has found a new passion and has been enrolled in a floristry course for the past few months and she has made some stunning arrangements along the way.
This gorgeous floral wreath....is one of the very best she has done.
In fact it was part of her exam display that earnt her a fantastic 96 out of 100.
Woohoo Rosey, I am so glad you have found the thing that makes your heart beat faster and I am so happy that you gave me this amazing piece, even if you did make me cry.
I love it and it has lasted all week and I have been able to look at it every day.
Flowers from a friend made even more special when they were arranged like this..love it.
Well there is nothing like being 4 weeks late to post about Simply Christmas at Shabby Art Boutique, an 8 week even that helps to organise some of us poor souls (that would be me) into having a stressfree, handmade, organised and relaxed Christmas.
That is not to say I haven't already been reading along in utter awe of some of the creations on the links as well as the amazing content Kerryanne puts in...I just haven't told you all about it and worked out how to add the little linky button in yet...I still have 4 weeks right? Not.
OK so luckily you can go back and read all the wonderful projects and guest posts so far for Simply Christmas if you haven't already been 'playing along'...and you can keep going back to refer to them too...and you can visit last years simply Christmas 8 week event there too.
This is what the 8 week event is all about. So you need to scoot on over there now and have a look see and you never know who might be popping up with some pearls of Christmas wisdom in the next few weeks... Kiss Noises Linda
A step-by-step creative Christmas planner with free download printed pages.

A weekly link up party starting week 2, so you can share your own homemade Christmas goodies.
Remember my Day of the Triffids garden post from HERE? Well my lovely little cottage garden around the bike still looks a bit wild and woolly but it is producing some wonderful sweet pea flowers ( yay Pam I got some all of my own..woohoo) and some little round yellow tomatoes...will post about those later but for today this is my most favourite photo!
Look at those little babies in there....soooo sweet...pea...hahaha..oh dear not enough sleep again,
The displays at Lilly Cottage Old Petrie Town and Bribie Island are like cake, they either get gobbled up really quickly, leaving only crumbs...or they go stale ( not a lot of that happens at our house I can tell you).
So for fear of going stale I thought I would show you some photos of what was in the display on Sunday...hope you enjoy.
Ohhhh...I am in love...with this beautiful pink chair I bought on Sunday.
I see Tea Parties, I see shabby studio, I see a really good display chair for a little while.
I see something pretty...sorry to anyone who may have been injured in my dash to secure this beauty as my very own ( and Thank you to Katherine for standing guard over it when I went to pay for it...what a girl!) I am in love!
A little snapshot from Lilly Cottage Old Petrie Town this week.
I adore these old blue bottles, my favourites are the ones with 'writing' on them and en masse they look fabulous but boy was it hard to let them go, they were all my favourite...love the colour too.
This lovely basket is one I have adorned with these sweet blue flowers and if it doesn't sell before hand will be off to The Handmade Expo this Saturday. They look great together, the basket and the bottles, don't you think?
Two days of gorgeous handmade arts and crafts at Cleveland.

Hi and thank you for visiting.
My name is Linda and I live on a sunny tropical island in Queensland Australia.
This blog used to be called Lilly Cottage and within its archives you will find many many posts about my gorgeous little cottage shop that was at Old Petrie Town.
I had a shop there with my friend Laura for over four years though had to close it due to my nasty MS.
Now I am sea changing, creating and loving life at a slightly slower pace ( I said slightly).
Enjoy my blog. Kiss Noises Linda
