My Mother has been staying with us for a while and for some reason or another can not stand to see pretty flowers in the garden, they must be cut off immediately and placed in a vase inside. There was the day when she cut off the one and only Sweet Pea bloom I had to put in a vase but now they are gone and there is not a lot blooming around here...except for the Bottlebrush down beside the house which didn't escape her little snippers. ( She has often said that when she was little her Grandfather used to say that the flowers would all droop their heads when they saw her coming...I so believe that!)
Still the bottlebrush does look great in a makeshift, half finished bottle vase and looking at it through the camera lens has given me a great idea for a new shop display....some things in the back ground, I wonder if you could pick it too?

What gorgeous flowers! I can wait to see that display! I have to say that I am a keen snipper too, so I totally get where your mum is coming from! X
