Woohoo...market day was Sunny ( purely from all the good wishes from my bloggy friends I believe) and we had a lovely spot under the trees and it was far more pleasant than our last market disaster in March. Of course it did help that we didn't have half as much stuff (probably because we had to throw it away or donate it last time) and we had a practice set up.
Sales weren't fantastic as the markets were really busy and people aren't used to us just yet....they will it will just take some time. It didn't matter though as the day was lovely and I got to drink coffee and eat some of the yummy homemade goodies that were on offer.
Can you believe I had hundreds of home decorating and craft magazines ( I really needed to cull my collection) for sale for a pitance...well 3 for $5.00 and I sold 3!! I think I will have to put some on the blog in case some of you lovely bloggers would like some....one day.
I am now busy sewing ( and doing some other secret stuff) and painting for this coming weekend as I return to The Handmade Expo on Saturday at the Turf club at Ipswich and hopefully the Bribie Island Community Art Centre on Sunday ( I need to check in with them, they have accepted me as a Member and I am on off to volunteer for the catering (read tea parties there) for the Bribie Island Arts Festival in July.
Busy Busy Busy am I, I hope to see you whilst I am out and about...please say hello if you see me...
