I don't know about you but when I start creating, a million ideas flow into my head at the same time and I am creating and designing and planning all at the same time, and I have to tell you that is my favourite time of the day, that quiet time when all there is is my and a mound of fabric and ribbons and embroidery threads..bliss.
Somehow the days all flow into one and all of a sudden it has been weeks since you have read any ones blogs or written a blog post of your own for that matter.. and you know in a blink of an eye it will be Christmas.
We have so much more to do before then don't we? I have so many things I want to make, some are half way there, some are a pile of fabric with an idea pinned to it and some are somewhere in my mind.
Of course I need to restock Lilly Cottage with some handmade lovelies and the biggest excitement of all, is just as I thought my whirlwind of quality Christmas Handmade Markets was slowing down a little, there is all manner of excitement being created by the girls in The Handmade Expo team as they expand their handmade market style to new locations...they will continue in Ipswich on the third Saturday of the month and have added Kingaroy on the third Sunday of the month, Redlands ( Capalaba) on the second Sunday of the month and Morayfield on the first Sunday of the month.
We are excited to be a part of all ofThe Handmade Expo's but especially about Morayfield..Morayfield is very close to home for us on the Northside of Brisbane on the way to the Sunshine Coast. The venue is the Morayfield Park Leisure Centre and it is a totally indoor venue..big enough for over 130 stalls of handmade loveliness. So no matter whether there is rain, wind or intense shine ( the three market goers least favourite whether conditions), we will have a little oasis of quality handmade gorgeousness.
The first market at this venue will be on Sunday the 2nd December from 9am - 2pm... perfect timing for Christmas gift buying. There are also vacancies for more stall holders if you create something wonderful yourself, head to the website HERE and read the Guidelines and Apply for a Stall...you can choose Morayfield or any other of the wonderful new sites where there is also indoor sites available at Kingaroy and Redlands...and of course the original Handmade Expo at Ipswich...you can apply for all of them if you wish.
In the meantime, I really should get back to some sewing and such...these are all pictures of my recent creations that sold at Gatton at Christmas in the Country...so I best start restocking...oh inbetween now and the 2nd December we also have the fabulous Forest Hill Market where we will be putting the kettle on and serving some lovely tea and scones..you need to come visit us there too...Lilly Cottage is all over the place these days. lol
Now off I go to create, hope to see you soon,
Kiss Noises Linda
