Easter Pretties at Lilly Cottage.

Easter is my absolute favourite time of year ( I am sure you have heard me say that year after year, lol). What is not to like, crisp mornings and evenings, warm sunny days, a 4 day weekend, bunnies and pretties whereever you look and oh...all the 'presents' are chocolate or comfy winter Pj's.. love love.

So doing up the Easter displays at Lilly Cottage Bribie Island is no chore at all ( actually is never a chore, just a lot of fun). Here is a little look at what is in the Easter display...enjoy your window shopping.

Oh I do apologise, I had to have a little rest in the middle of my garden adventure, but I am back refreshed and ready to continue...off we go.

A Beautiful Day for a walk in the Garden.

Actually the day that we went to visit the  Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens.... on the Mornington Peninsula, it was very very hot. Looking at the photos though, we could have been in a beautiful English garden, or Estate, where the weather was lovely and cool. There were lots of lovely spaces in the gardens. WARNING lots of photos..I tried to edit them to fewer, I really did, lol

 Pfhew, tiring work walking around these beautiful gardens, I wonder where this path will lead?

Roses by the Roadside.

It seems like forever since we were away on our little holiday and  I took so many great photos, I really should be sharing them.

Now because it was January...see forever ago, I can't remember exactly where this was, but I remember it was really really hot, one of those 40 degree days and we had stopped for a drink and these gorgeous roses where suffering a little but still looked beautiful just the same.

Imagine these are growing on the roadside ( someone was obviously planted them and was looking after them), I don't even have one rose bush that has a flower on it that looks anywhere near as lovely as these.

It was one of those memorable little moments from a great trip, that just goes to show that beauty is everywhere, you just need to open your eyes to see it.
